gmx works on mobile web. the trade flow is roughly the same as on desktop, slightly compressed. it is more usable on iphone than dydx or hyperliquid simply because the pool-counterparty model has fewer ui surfaces than an orderbook ui. but it is not a mobile-first design. you can do everything you need to do, but you will not find yourself reaching for it on a phone unless you have to.
drift
drift is a solana-native protocol and has put serious effort into mobile web. for users in the solana ecosystem with phantom installed on iphone, drift is one of the more usable mobile perp experiences. the friction is the chain and the wallet. if you are not already on solana with phantom, the onboarding eats most of the mobile-friendliness advantage.
aevo
aevo on iphone is a usable web app for users who specifically want options and perps in one place. the mobile ux is decent but the product itself is more complex than perps alone, which means the screen real estate problem is more pronounced. for a creator audience that just wants a perp tap, aevo is overkill on mobile.
apex
apex is functional on iphone and has been gradually improving its mobile web experience. it does not yet have the polish of the top-tier mobile experiences, but it is in the conversation as a credible mid-tier option for traders who want an orderbook ui that scales down acceptably to a phone.
